Personal Passions
Emerging Whole is a coaching platform I founded focused on post-recovery personal growth — the messy, meaningful work that happens after the hardest part. It lives at the intersection of two things I've been passionate about my entire career: authentic storytelling and mental health.
Sometimes the best way to prove you can build a brand is to build one yourself.
Emerging Whole is a coaching platform I founded focused on post-recovery, trauma-informed personal growth — the messy, meaningful work that happens after the hardest part. It lives at the intersection of two things I've been passionate about my entire career: authentic storytelling and mental health.
Here's what made this project different: I was the client. That meant no brief, no stakeholder approvals, no safety net. Just me, making every decision — brand identity, voice, visual direction, content strategy, all of it — from a blank page.
And honestly? It's one of the most clarifying and rewarding things I've ever done. When you have to define your own brand voice, you realize fast how many people skip the hard questions. What do you actually stand for? Who are you talking to, and what do they need to hear? What does trust sound like?
Emerging Whole gave me the space to answer those questions — and to translate complex psychological concepts into language that feels human, not clinical. Warm but grounded. Real without being raw.
This is what I do for brands every day. I just finally got to do it for something that's entirely mine.
Actionable Help
Reading is great, but doing helps most people learn successfully. I develop worksheets and action plans to accompany each article to help my readers and clients heal and grow.
